Does Patriotism Still Matter?

Patriotism does matter, it will always matter even at times when you think
patriotism doesn’t apply to you because you’re not an American. It applies to
every one of us here in America. The things and the rights that we have are all
preserved by the military. They fight for you, me, and every single one of us.
Those people helped you become what you are today. When I fight and speak with
some one it will still matter.

I am proud to be any where in America knowing that the veterans are protecting
me. They show their love and devotion to our country even if it means leaving
their loved ones. They show that patriotism and we should to.

November 4th and July 4th that’s the time to show that we care about the people
that fight, protect and dedicate their lives just to preserve ours. The veterans
work hard protect our country and that’s why we should be thankful for their
work not just on these two particular holiday but everyday. They show love and
dedication to this country so much that they would put their lives at risk just
to secure it. People celebrate these occasions by watching fireworks and
watching the ceremony of putting new names on the Vietnam Veteran Memorial Wall
located in Washington D.C.

Honor, protection, independence are a few words to describe what the veterans
brought to us, not physically but you know that the honor is there. What you
also might know is that it takes so much just for the veterans to claim this
kind of victory. They get injured and a majority of them dies. If that’s not
patriotism and dedication I don’t know what is. For all that they’ve done for
us, we as in the patriots of America should help them by sending letters or
anything to make them more special than they already are.

Patriotism still matters whatever happens. It’s the thing that make this great
country even greater, even stronger.
